Continental Espresso: About
One of our most classic coffee blends. Half and half Colombian and Honduras beans, both full bodied, rich, and nutty, Continental blend is the perfect coffee for those who like a classic cup.
Continental is a higher-grade version of a classic European style roast. Designed for those who aren’t interested in fruity notes or complex acidities, but who want a coffee to come with rich, chocolate and toasted nut notes and with the body enough to punch right through the milk and make its flavour felt.
Brewing Fundamentals
Continental is a full-bodied coffee, and by virtue of this does have a pleasant bitterness to its finish.
To avoid this bitterness being pushed to the point of being acrid you want to brew it at around a 1-2.5 ratio, putting about 17 grams of ground coffee in and expecting about 40-45g of espresso out in around 18-23 seconds.

Not as good as the last batch, but good enough to make me order again. Thank You.

I’ve tried a lot of single plantation coffees trying to educate my Italian team and find them something a little more exotic -something that’s not their ‘go to’ Lavazza…so far nothing has hit the spot. On your recommendation I bought a bag of this and they said “IS VERY NICE!”. Thank you!!

Love this continental blend. Super smooth – our go to espresso now, a little less bitter than the Classico blend.

Lovely coffee, very smooth and not too bitter
