Smooth, sweet, nutty Fairtrade Coffee Beans
Our best selling fairtrade coffee beans
Adams + Russell’s Fairtrade Colombian roast is an absolute winner with our customers, not just in the ethical coffee businesses but in many coffee shops around the country.
Buying fair trade beans allows us to ensure the farmers, who work extremely hard and long hours, are being paid the price they deserve to produce excellent quality coffee beans
Superbly smooth espresso
We only use 100% arabica beans sourced from Colombia that are carefully hand roasted for a smooth, easy drinking coffee. A smooth coffee with a touch of sweet nuttiness creating a superb espresso.
Why Colombian coffee beans?
We choose Colombia simply because of the perfect climate that allows the beans to produce an extremely rich yet tasteful flavour. This Colombian coffee is grown in volcanic soil at an elevation of 4,000 to 6,000 feet, meaning it’s produced in the very best area for achieving amazing taste from every bean and in turn every cup of coffee you create.
Fairtrade certified status
Buying fairtrade coffee allows a higher proportion of equity to be given back to the farmers that produce this fantastic crop year after year. As well as offering food (usually by the sister crop in which the coffee is grown underneath) a higher income supports the families and ensures that a higher welfare standard is practiced before, during and after harvest. The dedicated farmers are the true experts in making sure this quality coffee tastes its best – and the more money and investments that is input to such farms is really seen in the cup, and the smiles on the farmers faces!
Hand roasted to perfection
We know how to achieve freshness and and every batch of beans is individually hand roasted to ensure each bean stays completely fresh. This specific coffee is a medium to full roast, allowing for a nicely balanced flavour and aroma.
